MAN the Label

I spotted these beautiful, chunky works of art while browsing through my Google Reader. Pictures of them popped up on various Aussie blogs including Little Black Book and Cake Face. The designer behind them is Sheila Man:

Born into a creative family in Buenos Aires Argentina, Sheila Man has been heavily influenced by her fashion designer mother and architect father. Following her heart to Australia at age 18, she settled in Bondi and immersed herself in fashion design, fashion production and tailoring studies.

MAN blends organic and industrial elements into wearable, adaptable art. Each piece is beautiful, strong and distinctive.

MAN is a labor of love, with Sheila creating each unique piece in her home studio. Her jewellery reflects her South American heritage, extensive travels, and new home in Australia.
